Are You Aware of ShopWiki.com?

You have seen many posts regarding health and beauty products on this blog. I like bringing awareness to these products, foods, juices etc to your attention because they are beneficial to ones health.

Now I am writing this post to bring awareness to a website that I found that enables you to locate all the products you may be searching for in one place. I know when I am searching for something and want to learn all I can before making a decision or purchase, I am brought from one page to another to another and another.

It can be not only time consuming, but frustrating because I usually cannot find the original page I started on. Has this ever happened to you?

Shopwiki.com is not your ordinary online shopping guide. This site searches out every store which carries the product(s) you are interested in. This means you will be able to compare prices, see what is on sale... all on one site. Shopwiki also does not just show the stores that have paid for advertising their stores, unlike other shopping guides online do. Shopwiki shows each and every store available to you. You can also read reviews which will help in making a better informed decision.

I have been interested in mineral cosmetics of late, which seem to be popping up everywhere. Organic health and beauty products have always been a favorite of mine and when I came across Shopwiki, I was surprised to read information that I wasn't aware of.

I learned the difference between natural and certified-organic products. There was a glossary of ingredients that beauty products may contain, so I know which ones to stay away from. There was information on natural herbal ingredients and what they do to help your skin.

Shopwiki also provided an informational link to a site called Skin Deep, which gives you a list of "high concern" brands. You enter the product (or Company) you want to learn about and the information is right there before you. This I believe, is a very important link to check out.

There are just too many positives and benefits of this site to mention and include in this post. If you are looking for products for the face, body, or oils I have previously posted about, such as emu oil or any other health/beauty product, I do suggest you soak in all the free information Shopwiki provides and get the best price at the same time.

Let me know what you think of this site. Did you learn something you didn't know before? If you would like to be a guest writer here and want to share your thoughts, please reach out to me. I'd love to share you stories...

What is Emu Oil?

If you are looking for a natural product that can treat a variety of conditions you may want to consider Emu Oil. This product can be used for aging skin to stretch marks, sunburn relief, and chronic pain management.

Emu oil is an oil made from the fat of the emu, which is a bird native to Australia. It is a complete neutral lipid. Emu Oil is approximately 70%unsaturated fatty acids: mono-unsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, omega-6 fatty acid and omega-3 fatty acid.
These ingredients makes it highly penetrating to the skin.

It has been used for thousands of years for the treatment of burns, wounds, bruises, and as a pain reliever for bone, muscle, and joint disorders. There is some evidence that suggests the oil has medicinal benefits due to its strong anti-inflammatory properties.

It is frequently used topically to soften skin and is found in ointments for dry cracked heels. Studies have shown this oil aids in reducing scar formation. More uses for Emu Oil are: healing burn wounds, muscle sprains, arthritis, foot fungus, eczema and redness of the face.

Recently the cosmetic industry have included Emu Oil in their anti-aging products. This is because Emu oil is an excellent moisturizer and can re-hydrate the skin. It aids in cell rejuvenation, giving the skin a youthful and healthier appearance.

According to Progressive Emu (http://www.proemu.com), which specializes in Emu Oil products, you should never consider a product if it does not carry the American Emu Association certification seal on the packaging. The products should also be tested by the American Oil Chemist Society, which means a certified chemist has certified the product meets the specifications for the Emu Oil fully refined trade rules.

So with all of its' anti-inflammatory, healing properties and omega oils, I believe Emu Oil aids in good health all around. At Progressive Emu you can find a variety of products that are certified: 100% Progressive Emu Oil, Skin and Body Lotions,Sports Cream and Glucosamine Cream which provides relief from inflamed joints and sore muscles. Since it is a cream and not an oral pain reliever, it does not pass through the gastrointestinal tract, so you will not have stomach discomfort.

The Gel caps they offer contain Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids. They are to be taken orally and help stimulate skin and hair growth, maintaining bone health, regulate metabolism, maintain reproductive capability, brain function, reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Omega 3 stimulates blood circulation and has shown to lower blood pressure and help rheumatoid arthritis.

If your body needs help, Emu Oil might be the natural product to turn to.

Health Benefits Of Noni Juice

Last March, I was introduced to Acai berry juice by a friend of mine.
I then wrote a series of posts to make my readers aware of the benefits of this amazing juice. See those posts by going Here

In doing some research and also by visiting the Total Health Shop for my products, I found another juice that also has amazing health benefits. By the way, I have found the best prices for these products is on The Total Health Shop. If you do your own comparison shopping, please let me know if you find better deals.

Since being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, I really do try to drink as much fruit, vegetable and these other organic juices as I can to help manage this disease. I find they help maintain my immune system plus I get the additional health benefits.

This series of posts will be about the Benefits of Organic_Tahitian_Noni_Juice.
This, I hope, will give you a better understanding about Noni Juice.

Since the Morinda Citrifolia tree or Noni, is found in Southeast Asia, cultures of the tropics have been aware of the fruit of this tree and its benefits for years and years.
Noni Juice was being used to cleanse and purify their entire system, used as a defense against illness, help aid digestion, heal abrasions, reduce swelling, inflammation and reduce pain.

Noni Juice has also been credited with helping to increase mental clarity and attention span.

When you drink quality Noni Juice, meaning fresh fruit, not diluted and properly processed, the benefits this juice can produce are amazing.

It can support our immune system's ability to fight disease and infection.
Helps our Circulatory system, tissues, and cells. Noni Juice contains antioxidants that help rid the body of harmful free radicals.
Noni Juice aids with proper digestion and helps you absorb more nutrients at the cellular level.

If you decide to try Noni Juice, you can not expect immediate change. You need to allow time for the juice to work its magic and your body to get used to the change. Everyone is different and it depends on your overall health when you begin drinking Noni juice.

House Guide Lines To Live By

I happened upon these House Guide Lines by visiting The Duggar Family's website. For those who are not aware of this family, they are a couple in their early forites who have 18 children. 18! They have a reality show on TLC and can be viewed a few times each week. Check your local listings.

Through their TV show, they share their rock-solid faith and their overriding belief that "children are a blessing from God." They also share the family routines and guidelines they've learned through biblical study and trial and error -- ideas that can help make your home a place of peace, love, and support.

By viewing their website and TV show, you can receive lessons on:
debt-free living,Organizing systems for a clutter-free home,
Homeschooling methods and schedules,Training tips for little ones
Relationship builders for older children,
Favorite Duggar family resources, homemade laundry soap recipe, plus other recipes that go a long way.

By no means do you need to be deeply religious to receive these life lessons or encouragement or feel the inspiration. You just need an open heart. I have never before seen a family like this one. They have such strong values, the love and the faith that make them unique and very successful. We all should be so lucky! Not too many people truly believe or live their beliefs...

Something that really struck me were their House Guidelines. I've posted them below to share because more people should live by these words.

The House Guidelines
* Always use soft words, even when you don’t feel well.
* Always display kind actions and joyful attitudes, even if you have been mistreated. Have the right response by quickly forgiving others in your heart even before they ask.
* Always be enthusiastic and look for opportunities to praise others' character.
* Always deflect praise and be grateful to God and others for the ways they have benefited your life.
* Always use manners and be respectful of others and their belongings.
* Always do what is right, even when others may not, or when no one is looking.
* Thank God for how He made you, for what He has given you and everything He allows you to go through. (Romans 8:28)
* Don’t mock or put others down. Develop compassion and pray for others.
* Never argue, complain, or blame. Quickly admit when you have done wrong and ask for forgiveness (even if you were only 10% at fault). Don't wait till you’re caught. * Be sure your sins will find you out. He who covers his sin will not prosper, but he that confesses and forsakes it shall find mercy.
* Have a tough accountability/prayer partner to daily share your heart with and to keep you in line (your parents, spouse). The power of sin is in secrecy.
* Be attentive and look for ways to serve others with sincere motives and no thought of self-gain. * Think pure thoughts (Philippians 4:8, Romans 13:14).
* Always give a good report of others. Don't gossip! Never tale-bear unless physical harm will come to someone. (Use Matthew 18.)
* Never raise a hand to hit.
* Never raise a foot to kick.
* Never raise an object to throw.
* Never raise a voice to yell.
* Never raise an eye to scowl.
* Use one toy/activity at a time. Share!
* Do your best to keep your surroundings neat, clean and organized.
* Never let the sun go down on your wrath. (Don’t go to bed angry or guilty)
* Amendment J.O.Y. -
Put Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last.

If you need a dose of inspiration, encouragement, faith, love, support etc...please do check out their website and/or watch this show. You WILL be glad you did

Celebration and New Beginnings

As February begins, it reminds me that soon we will be observing the start of a most religious holiday.

If you are Christian/Catholic, the end of the month begins Lent, which preceeds Easter by 40 days. At this time, not only am I reminded of why we celebrate Easter, but my thoughts turn to spring...feeling renewed energy...when the trees and plants come to life. The overall feeling of new beginnings bring about such warm feelings.

I remember when my son was small, we use to celebrate Easter with an Easter Party. Before our big dinner, we would color Easter eggs and then have an Easter egg hunt. It has been many years since I have done that, but now I have a young niece who I want to experience that with.

At Celebrations.com, I found great ways I can bring the feeling of Easter to my niece. From teaching her the meaning of Easter by sharing the history which I believe in and reading her poems, to obtaining craft ideas to do with her, tips and even traditional recipes to enjoy. I'm glad to have found this site. Everything I need is in one place.

Of course Celebrations.com is not solely dedicated to Easter. They cover every imaginable event, celebration, theme party and entertaining idea. I joined their mailing list to receive their newsletter and bookmarked this site for future reference. You most likely will too!
